Job Title : Personal Care Worker (PA. Location : Ballyjamesduff area, Co. Cavan. Job Purpose : To support a person with a physical disability by providing assistance with personal care, daily living tasks and social networking. Hours of Work. 40 hours pw. Rate €13/hour (Depending on experience. Job Description. Assisting person with a physical disability as required, eg. Personal care, toileting, showering, dressing, cooking meals, shopping, household maintenance, cleaning, laundry and transport. Some weekend work and/or unsociable hours may be required (assisting person with a physical disability to socialize eg. football matches, cinema, meeting friends etc.). Reporting to : Person with a physical disability. Person Specification. Essential qualifications; At least one year’s work experience in a related area. Hold a recognized qualification in health/social care or related field. You will likely have knowledge and experience of; Supporting a person with a physical disability. Hold a current Manual handling certificate. First Aid. Computer skills. Driving License. You will be a person who; Takes direction from a person with the disability. Agrees to Garda vetting.
