SOUS CHEF & CHEF de PARTIE REQUIRED FOR AN AWARD WINNING BISTRO IN CO. CAVAN. We are seeking to recruit a Sous Chef and experienced Chef de Partie with opportunity for progression in an award winning bistro with an excellent reptation for offering high quality menus. Ideally you will have worked in an upper class restaurant in Bistro style food offerings. This is a busy premise that operates all year round and had a 120 cover restaurant with al fresco dining in summer. The successful candidate will: Ensuring that high levels of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness are constantly maintained. Accountability for the entire food preperation & production. Ensure that all oprational aspects to the effective running of the kitchen are adhered too. Accountability for all health and safety and HACCP procedures. Being responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the kitchen. Menu planning and creation. Great eye for food presentation without effecting the taste quality. Staff Training and Induction. Food ordering and cost control. Managing the kitchen staff rosters, job delegation and sections. This is a very hands on role and any proposed candidates will need to have come from a high quality and high volume property. Salary.
