Electrical Engineer. Role Type: Permanent. Role Location: Cavan. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role of the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the site test bay function. Previous supervisor experience necessary as well as prior experience in dealing with the INAB and the ISO standard 17025.Prior manufacturing experience would he highly regarded. The main deliverables of this role are as follows; To manage the flow of production through all test bays. To ensure that all tested are carried out in accordance with procedures in an efficient and timely manner. To ensure that all results fall within specification. To carry out routine testing of all products. To carry out type tests as requested by customers or by design department. To assist in any customer inspections and audits. To calculate test certificates for each product items and provide rating plates for each. Key Accountabilities. Number of tested completed and compliant. Number of type tests carried out. Smooth flow of production through test bay. Maintenance of ISO 17025. To ensure the training of staff to carry out all test. Analysis of test bay failures and test bay results. Requirements. - Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Previous people Management experience. - Minimum 3 years exp in similar/manufacturing environment/ AND/OR Electrical Design experience in power industry.
