Quality Process Manager. Role Type: Permanent. Role Location: Cavan. Reports to the manufacturing manager and manages four direct reports. The QPC Manager assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice systems; validating processes and providing documentation to support our processes. The QPC manager will be an ambassador for high standards. Ideally looking for candidates with an engineering background in process, quality or manufacturing. Responsibilities: Champion and promote company's H&S. Environmental, Energy and Quality policies on site. Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures. The QPC Manager will oversee the Raw Materials Quality Control system and ensure that this is adhered to by manufacturing and process. Recipe Design Process; proposes and optimises Recipe to solve specific problems. The QPC Manager has final control and sign off on all recipes. The QPC manager will be responsible for the planning and co-ordinating of all production trials. Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods. Develop corrective action plans and systems using such tools as statistical methods, pareto charts, flow charting and failure mode effects analysis. Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations. Continuously Review, Develop and maintain a system for control of change in Manufacturing. Lead the QPC team to ensure that all company procedures designed to protect quality, process, safety, environmental and commercial performance are followed rigorously. Be the guarantor for the QPC Pillars of WCM and maintain ISO accreditation. Liaise with SG Central Engineering and GPI Teams to ensure best practice in Quality & Process Control. Is ambassador for high standards. What we are looking for in candidates. Proven experience in a similar role. Proven experience in Product Development, Process Development, Change Management Experience. ISO System Experience and Understanding. Ability to influence all stakeholders. Ability to listen and engage with stakeholders. All round team player who is adaptable, flexible and agile. Innovative. WCM /Lean manufacturing exp desirable.
