Candidate must have the ability to: • Install, maintain and repair single and 3 phase electrical systems on an industrial scale. • Understand and repair PLC’s, instrumentation, all electrical equipment and controls. • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment. • Repair a variety of large scale electrical and electronic controls, motors, gearboxes, systems, pump, devices, etc. • Operating a wide variety of tools and equipment. • Read and interpret schematics and CAD/ Solidworks drawings. • Make decisions with minimal supervision. • Work on shift scheduled base. • Perform urgent repairs as they arise. Successful candidate will have a strong desire to eliminate unscheduled downtime and waste and be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Candidate must have: • Certificate/Diploma in a relevant discipline with 5 years’ experience. • High level of technical ability and flexibility. • Strong trouble-shooting / Problem solving skills. • High level of safe working practices & awareness. • Strong verbal English language communication skills. • Computer knowledge. • The ability to work co-operatively and effectively.
