Data Quality Specialist - Finance. Permanent Role: Cavan. Qualified accountant or risk specialist. Seeking candidates with 5 years relevant experience preferably in a Financial Services environment. Understand risk management and control, have the ability to understand business processes and identify where data quality may be at risk, good understanding of corporate governance and oversight and have problem solving capability. Duties. • Assist in managing the implementation project plan to completion. • Assist with project oversight and control activities, including, definition of scope, process design and project governance. • Assisting business stakeholders in creating business glossary, data mapping, risk identification, control metrics and developing data quality scorecards for their area. • Co-ordinate the design of key templates and processes for all of the above. • Co-ordinate and guide data stewards in activities required to deliver data quality objectives. • Assist each business area in developing the data quality controls and metrics as well as the supporting business strategies. • Also participate in our strategic data project which will transform how data is managed within our company. • Assist in project stakeholder management to ensure effective delivery of project objectives. • Assist with project governance - including preparation of inputs and scorecards for the newly established Data Quality Council.
