Survey Manager. Role Type: Permanent. Location: Cavan with national and UK/European travel. My client's primary mission if the focus on making roads safer. They are in operation for over 50 years and they have a number of different divisions to their business, my client now wishes to add the expanding team in the road survey and asset management section. This role will be a split between technical sales and road/asset surveying - you will run the process through from sales through to completion of the report, support provided from the in house administrative and management team. As a road survey and asset management specialist you will report directly to the company directors. You will be responsible selling, marketing and carrying out different bespoke road surveying services, including a new 360 degree imaging service for asset management. Main Duties: • Selling and marketing to mainly road owners and operators e.gcivil engineers, architects, local governments etc. • Carrying out surveys for new and existing clients. • Producing and tailoring reports to clients requirements. Requirements: • Experience with GIS data capture, editing and analysis. • Keen understanding of technical and engineering language as to present successfully to the customer. • Highly organised with excellent time management skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work productively with a wide range of people. • Proven ability to work both individually and as part of a busy team. • Experience with technical documentation. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Flexible attitude. • Degree (or equivalent) in Geography/GIS, Engineering (or related area) a bonus. • Sales experience a bonus.
