Mc Kenna precision is a reputable and expanding business in the North East is currently recruiting for a manual / CNC machinist to join them on a Permanent basis. Main duties will include but not limited to –  -Setting and Operating CNC/manual mill to produce products from drawings. -Turning parts with CNC/ Manual lathes.  -Candidates will be responsible for ensuring machines run correctly. -Work will need to be completed in a timely manner and will be checked by strict quality standards. -General bench fitting duties will be involved in this role as and when required. Candidate requirements –  -Time served in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. -Minimum of 5 years experience  -Work using own initiative  -Experience setting and operating Bridgeport, Harrisson - Colchester Lathes and Mills. -Good timekeeping skills. -Flexible to duties and hours  - Overtime available  Skills Required. -Manual machinist, Skilled Machinist, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Engineering, Manufacturing. -Alphacam, Autocad/Solidworks experience is a bonus. If you have experience on turning and not milling or vice versa, then we would still like to hear from you. This position is for ideally someone that can program,set and run both machining centres and cnc lathes. Keywords.
