What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment is working closely with our Medical Devices Manufacturing Company in the Carrick on Shannon area in the recruitment of a H&S Co-ordinator. This is a permanent position and salary is negotiable depending on experience. You will report to the Head of Operations. Your new job. Responsible for the coordination of Health & Safety activities within the plant. Support manufacturing engineering projects as directed. Maintaining the health & safety statement. Continuous review of operating procedures. Provide support to employees. Address Health & Safety issues directly with employees and report to manager. Co-ordinate external and internal training. Carry out risk assessments. Holding of regular Health & Safety meeting. Review and approve production and trials transfer documentation. Ensure adequate stock & distribution of PPE. What are we looking for? A H&S qualification would be beneficial to your application. An Engineering qualification would be an advantage. 3 years’ experience in a similar Health & Safety role.
