VBA Developer-Cavan. VBA Developer required for daily rate contract for a period of up to 2 months to build a motor insurance rating model. Third Level degree or Equivalent i.e. Diploma with a minimum 4 years' VBA development experience, demonstrating strong analytical and problem‐solving skills is required for this role. Essential: Experienced VBA developer with proven problem solving skills. Highly Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Proficient in programming languages (SQL, VB, C , Java. Database infrastructure knowledge; capable of integrating multiple data sources. Competent with large data sets. Project Management skills: organising, planning, influencing, feedback, delivery. Desired Skills. Experience of working collaboratively within a team to achieve a specific result. Past experience in consulting and developing recommendations from complex analysis. Experience in a financial services / Insurance analytical environment.
