HR Generalist - Contract. Due to a peak in workflow, my client, a leading manufacturer on the cavan/fermanagh border now have an opening for a HR advisor for a 3 month contract - immediate start and possible extension. Core Accountabilities: Effectively performing and continuously improving delivery of HR services, in collaboration with the wider HR operational team, to line managers and all employees, including: § Resolution of incidents and complaints, reviewing and escalating operational issues where necessary. § Delivers value-add guidance to line managers on key people processes and delivery of people related business initiatives. § Coach line managers to adopt a self-service functionality and manage their own teams independently using relevant technology. § Interpret and research employment law and HR best practice to ensure advice and guidance is both accurate and up to date. § Support the wider team in the delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities such as restructures including assisting with preparing necessary documentation, keeping records and tracking actions, ensuring organisation units updated. § Ensures all required employee information is managed and processed on HRIS and HR trackers, including personnel files, in a timely and accurate manner. § Periodically audits the HRIS, trackers and personnel files to ensure accuracy of information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and internal data retention policies and procedures. § Maintains the highest level of data integrity by handling all employee and company information with sensitivity and absolute confidentiality. § Assists with the tracking of departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals. § Prepares and maintains reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the HR department. § Prepares periodic MI reports, statistics and trends analysis for management, as necessary or requested. § Liaises with employees over payroll queries as and when required. § Provides general advice with regards to company policies and procedures and related employment issues. § Provides information as and when required for internal communications purposes. We are seeking someone that has the following. Proven track record of providing legally compliant operational HR support in a medium/large sized organisation or graduate seeking to specialise in HR. Able to evidence experience of handling sensitive and confidential information successfully. Proven ability of positive and constructive. relationship management at various levels.
