Matrix Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to be based in Co. Cavan. As the Financial Controller you willwork with our Irish Service Client based in Co. Cavan and will have full responsibility for the finance function. This is a permanent job and reports into the General Manager . Responsibilities: Overseeing the production of timely, relevant and accurate management information including weekly, monthly and annual reports. Preparation of a Management Reporting pack with full analysis and commentary and presentation to the senior management team and stakeholders. Preparation of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts. Monitoring and controlling key performance indicators including sales revenue streams, wage costs, purchasing costs and other expenditure. Maintaining and enhancing internal controls, systems, policies and procedures. Dealing with outside specialists such as Auditing, Revenue, Banking, Insurance & Legal etc. Assisting with the identification and analysis of critical areas for review and providing suitable input as a member of the senior management team. Leading and developing the finance team. Bringing fresh ideas that will contribute to strategic thinking, business expansion, revenue growth, cost reductions and quality performance overall. What we are looking for: Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant with 5-6 years’ post qualification experience ideally coming from a service or industry background. People management. Commercial awareness with good business acumen. Hands on person, with proven ability to work to tight deadlines. Assertive personality with good communication skills.
