There is an opening for a Senior Sous Chef to join a thriving business with a view to becoming the head chef within 12 to 18 months. Responsibilities Include. In conjunction with the Head Chef, to ensure the consistent smooth running of food service within the restaurant. Maintain a high level of food quality which will exceed expectations. Compilation of menus in accordance with the Executive Head Chef. Management of the restaurant kitchen team. To ensure effective stock control. To ensure that cleanliness and food safety is adhere at all times. Ideal candidate will have the following attributes: 3 years minimum of Chef de Partie or Junior Sous experience preferred. Restaurant or upmarket Bistro experience. Has the skill to deputise for Head Chef in their absence. Is Creative and energetic in the kitchen. Can work in harmony with the existing team. Is hands on at all times in all sections. This is a full time positon starting mid September offering a salary of up to €40,000.
