Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to be based in the Co. Cavan region. What you need to know. As the Production Shift Supervisor you will work for our Manufacturing client who is in the electrical sector and is currently undergoing major expansion. You will manage all areas of the production floor with team leaders reporting to you on each shift. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Your new job. Key Responsibilities. Manage the production plan, daily output and process flow. Ensure all KPI”s and production schedules are achieved on a daily basis. People management - supervision and leadership of the production team. Ensure targets for quality, service and output are achieved. Provide feedback for performance efficiencies and ensure issues are dealt with promptly. Liaise with other department such as HR, Logistics, Maintenance. Lead continuous improvement and lean improvements. What are we looking for? Essential Criteria. Degree/ BA in Manufacturing principles or other relevant field or relevant level of industry experience. 2-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Environment at supervisory capacity. Experience in an electrical/electronics’ environment would be an advantage. Previous experience and record in people management with the ability to motivate and lead.
