Our client, a leading multinational company have an exciting opportunity for a Business Account Manager based in Co.Cavan. The Role: Managing existing customer relationships in order to maximise sales volumes and margin in the nutrition sector. International travel as required. (West Africa, Middle East, Mexico, Asia. Developing senior level relationships with targeted customers which can be leveraged to further develop the business. To identify, develop and execute new business/product opportunities into high growth sectors for the company. Planning, Forecasting and budgeting. Key input in the design and delivery of the commercial strategy. Acting as a key market intelligence resource and on a systematic basis to track, monitor and report on relevant developments in dairy markets. Attention to detail, and knowledge of SAP to maximise business efficiencies. To work closely with our Innovation function to ensure that specific customer requirements and product development plans are delivered. The Person: A 3rd level qualification in a business/food Science or related discipline. Five years’ experience in the dairy industry or at a B2B level in the food ingredients industry. Fluency in French is essential, and proficiency in Spanish would be advantageous. Strong leadership qualities, capable of working with a team to achieve objectives. The proven ability to deliver results in a challenging environment. An excellent communicator capable of negotiating with customers to consistently achieve positive outcomes. Strong aptitude for financial analysis in order to interpret complex financial and commercial issues. Proven track record in developing and maintaining a wide range of relationships and information sources. A successful track record of business and new product development.
